Description Oakwood Village has an exciting opportunity for qualified candidates to join our University Woods (West Side of Madison) senior living community facility team as a Receptionist. The Receptionist is responsible for providing excellent customer service to everyone who calls or comes to the reception desk area.

This receptionist positon is an on-call position, hours will vary based on need. This position is to cover open shifts when main receptionist is not available.

Job Responsibilities of a Receptionist (Not intended to be an all-inclusive list)
-Fully embraces a culture of hospitality and teamwork by living the Oakwood Core Values.
-Answers and screens all incoming calls, then warm transfers the calls to the appropriate person or department.
-Cordially greets visitors, answers their questions, and promptly directs them to the person or department by giving directions or showing them how to use the map.
-Accepts work order request from residents for Facilities Services.
-Enters Guest Room and Meeting Room Reservations into the computer and completes reservation forms.
-Responsible for visitor sign in and security awareness in reception/lobby area.

Requirements Job Qualifications of a Receptionist (Not intended to be an all-inclusive list)
-Excellent customer service skills and experience. A warm smile, friendly courteous manner, professional appearance, and knowledge of the staff and campus.
-Ability to work a flexible schedule to achieve the needs of the campus.
-Ability to perform responsibilities in a professional manner resulting in effective and efficient workflow with a keen attention to detail.
-Associates degree preferred; High school education required.
-Two years’ clerical experience required.
-Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
