Description **Position can be based in Walnut Creek, CA or Houston, TX**

Want to leverage your experience working on deal teams and project development? Want to gain exposure to clean energy initiatives and cutting edge technologies in the energy sector?

The Strategic Development Manager provides market intelligence, serves as a subject matter expert, and leads the team in identifying, developing, implementing and closing structured transactions relating to the purchase and sale of strategic projects in geothermal power generation, carbon capture sequestration, battery storage and other clean energy initiatives.

• Implement market penetration strategies
• Contribute to the development of new and existing products and services
• Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders.
• Negotiate transaction agreements with customers/ counterparties.
• Oversee proposal development and customer presentations
• Develop and expand industry relationships to advance market presence and project development.

Requirements • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Engineering or related field; MBA preferred or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• A minimum of 5-10 years demonstrated success in energy project development.
• Leadership skills, advanced business acumen and strong negotiation skills required.
