Analytical skills to interpret and evaluate grantee budgets, reports and other business areas for compliance with STScI, NASA, and federal regulatory policies and procedures. Ability to comprehend the analysis of forecasting cycle values, grant obligations,
and grant expenditures and to provide guidance in this area.
- Proven ability to plan and organize work with a clear focus, ensuring that commitments and schedules are delivered accurately and in a timely manner.
- Experience identifying problems or areas that require coordination or negotiation of effort between departments and/or divisions.
- Understanding business and grants software a plus. Strong collaborative and people management skills.
- Demonstrated interpersonal, communication and negotiation abilities.
Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Finance, or other related field. Several years experience in a research administration, finance or equivalent in an organization awarding or receiving federal grants. Prior experience supervising or guiding
the work of other employees is strongly preferred.
