Red Wing Shoe Company is looking for a Region Account Manager to manage, develop, and maintain business relationships with specific key accounts. Serve as primary contact and liaison with end-users at the region/basin level in all aspects of account management including primarily program management and fulfillment (program communication, forecasting, scheduling/purchasing, warehousing, transportation) and secondarily marketing, sales, credit, and communication.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Account Relationship Management
• Collaborates with Industrial Territory Sales Manager (ITSM) to grow named accounts.
• Develop deep relationships with HSE, operations and sourcing
• Establish program credibility and procurement process.
• Assists in maintaining adequate inventory
• Represents one voice to the end user.
• Review contracts with sourcing team (All personal Protective Equipment) and ensure agreements are followed by Red Wing Shoe Company).

Sales and Marketing:
• Collaborate with ITSM to build an annual account plan and execute.
• Work closely with ITSM to meet end user’s needs, understand market demands and dynamics.
• Identify end user’s needs and sales opportunities to maximize and grow sales.
• Provide technical solutions for end users.
• Communicate program and product benefits to end users.
• Train local HSE and procurement on program and product portfolio.

Account Administration:
• Work with ITSM to establish contract metrics and accountability to that performance.
• Program forecasting working with Supply Chain partners to insure program visibility.
• Collaborate with Supply chain partners to manage delivery dates.
• Inform end-user of delivery status, and schedule ship dates in accordance with program expectations.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to problem solve and provide resolutions.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide the highest level of customer care and project a positive business image to internal and external customers. Project image matching our “world’s most respected brands” vision. Build positive and loyal relationships with internal and external customers.
• Uphold product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations.
• Obtain necessary information by maintaining knowledge of RWSC’s electronic communication software.
• Maintain quality service by establishing, following, and enforcing organization quality system standards.
• Uphold Red Wing Shoe Company’s core values.
• Complete other duties as assigned from time to time by your manager.
• Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, classes or programs.
• Conduct self according to RWSC policies/Handbook.

CUSTOMERS
Internal: Marketing and Sales, Production Scheduling, Purchasing, Sourcing, Shipping, Transportation, Finance (Credit and Accounts receivable), Shoe Returns, Legal, Information Services
External: Key Customers (Sourcing, Accounts Payable, HSE, operations)
Requirements EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Associates degree (A.A) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school and two to five years related experience/training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

● Ability to handle non-routine responsibilities and constantly changing business conditions
● Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Internet, e-mail)
● Movex or ERP experience

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Normal office environment

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Office environment with travel that may include trade shows, sales meetings and customer visits.
Frequent deadlines to be met.
Frequent meetings/interaction with internal staff and external customers.
