Develop and implement sales strategies to market Red Wing, Irish Setter and WORX brands to high quality distribution while maximizing sales and profit growth in accordance to company objectives. Support Corporate and Dealership Red Wing store and Industrial Center operations to optimize distribution, maximize sales, and drive profitable growth. Collaborate with region staff to drive growth throughout the distribution channels, enhance customer service, and increase profitability.

• Develop and execute a written market plan for the territory to attain annual and long-range sales goals.
• Evaluate and assist in the development of each account in both key and non-key market areas by establishing a positive long-term partnership.
• Analyze performance variances to maximize business efficiencies in Red Wing Shoe Stores
• Actively seek and establish new distribution that meets the required guidelines for the market area.
• Maintain effective communication with all appropriate personnel regarding products, promotional ideas and new programs.
• Provide assistance necessary to enhance our retail image while achieving required profit and R.O.I. goals for Red Wing Shoe Company, Inc. and its investors.
• Provide positive leadership to store personnel by educating them on products and business management strategies.
• Partner with Region Operations Manager in updating new and existing dealer agreements.
• Conduct effective in-store sales and product training clinics.
• Collaborate with Regional Operations Manager to analyze region needs and opportunities, submitting proposals to Region Director and corporate teams for enhancing store operations, learning and development initiatives, control procedures, sales and growth opportunities, lean initiatives, new dealer investor opportunities and candidates
• Provide sales and operational consulting and support to Red Wing Shoe Store Dealership stores, while enforcing the Red Wing Shoe Company Dealership Agreement. Work with store owners, managers and associates to involve them with RWSS in mutually agreed upon areas; such as sales generation, the Red Wing Experience, credit relationships, advertising, store moves, remodels, closings, and trucks (territories and agreements).
• Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) from four-year college or university and five years direct footwear sales experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have a valid driver’s license.

• Demonstrated experience developing sales strategies and plans, implementing them through specific tactical activities.
• Results oriented, performance driven to achieve organization, region, and individual goals
• Customer focused with proven skills prospecting, developing opportunities, closing new business, and growing existing accounts in a premium product sector.
• Collaborator, teaming mentality within region, across job position, and with corporate teams
• Analytical mindset for solving problems, forecasting, budgeting, expense management, profitability and loss, consumer selling, and territory analysis
• Relationship management including the ability to effectively work with and communicate with multi-functional groups both within and outside the company to drive strategic objectives.
• Tactical execution including managing competing priorities effectively, organization and time management
• Effective communications including presentation, written, and verbal, ability to effectively interact with a wide range of audiences
• Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.
• Retail store management experience preferred

• Frequent travel in the field (3-4 days per week) making scheduled face-to-face calls, cold calls, and attending meetings and shows.
• Significant overnight travel

• Home office environment within Region and close to RWSC core business
• Travel in territory 75% with office time 25%.
• Must be centrally located in the territory.
• Ability to work in a mobile environment
