Position Title Collaboration Solutions Analyst

Description The IT Collaboration Solution Analyst is responsible for IT solutions delivery for collaboration tools and processes.

Specific Duties Include:



  • Evaluates needs and delivers solutions using collaboration toolsets including, but not limited to, SharePoint, OneDrive, Microsoft Groups and Teams, Microsoft Power Apps, Microsoft Flow, and other O365 collaboration tools.
  • Manages delivery of SharePoint based employee portal features and functions.
  • Develops solution by preparing and evaluating alternative workflow solutions.
  • Validates results by testing programs.
  • Collaborates with IT Team and vendors to deliver new systems, tools, and processes.
  • Ensures knowledge content is created and curated for IT solutions.
  • Supports system conversions, upgrades, enhancements
  • Stays abreast of industry and technology trends to provide advice on strategic business and technology solutions.
  • Investigates, proposes and evaluates solutions.
  • Along with the IT Infrastructure team, manage and deploy collaboration tools including SharePoint, OneDrive, Groups, Teams, Power Apps, and Flow.
  • Maintain SharePoint sitemap that includes site ownership assignment, type, URL, and status.
  • Create and maintain a SharePoint and O365 governance structure that includes taxonomy, retention policy, version control, user management, security, and back-ups.
  • Provides recommendations to preserve the integrity of business processes across various changes to ensure the delivery of holistic integrated solutions.
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with process owners and super users.
  • Create and deliver collaboration tool training to ensure successful end user adoption.
  • Provide Tier II and Tier III support for collaboration tools
  • Develops and maintains a communication strategy to provide awareness and improve collaboration tool adoption.
  • Provides input into IT Strategic Roadmap as it relates to organizational collaboration initiatives.
  • Manages the demand queue set partners’ expectation on deliverables.
  • Interfaces with vendors to understand whether their products will meet business and technical requirements.
  • Manages relationship with existing technology vendors. Utilizes relationship to problem solve and manage the enhancement request process.
  • Maintains up-to-date awareness of the current and future directions of the industry and associated technologies, and, where appropriate, makes recommendations for implementation of new/upgraded systems and technologies.
  • Identifies and mitigates potential problems and conflicts with IT solution delivery.
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook.
  • Conduct self in the presence of customers and community so as to present a professional image of R.D. Offutt Company.
  • Proactively seek and participate in available company-sponsored training, in an effort to develop and advance knowledge base and skill set.
  • Participate in all company/location driven communication efforts, including open book meetings, huddles, department meetings and other related efforts.
  • Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science or Engineering.
  • At least 3 years of IT experience, or related field.
  • Experience managing SharePoint on premise and in the cloud
  • Experience with Microsoft Active Directory preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft SSRS preferred
  • Understanding of information technology and business concepts.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and leadership skills
  • Familiarity with general business functions.
  • Problem solving and communications skills.
  • Candidates must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship
