Installs/changes tires on various type of equipment.

Essential Functions Statement(s)


  • Removes tires from inventory loads on press truck/trailer
  • Receives direction from service planner where to go to install new tires on various equipment.
  • Drivers to various customer job sites to install tires
  • Communicates with customers on when/where equipment is to be taken out of service to install new tires.
  • Communicates with customer where this is to be done on customers premises.
  • Use jack to lift up equipment and blocks up with safety blocks. 
  • Removes lugs or fasteners from wheels/rims & removes tire assembly
  • Places tires in press, presses off old tires and presses on new tires.
  • Re-installs back on equipment and tightens fasteners.
  • Jacks up unit, removes blocks and lets unit back down on ground.
  • Test unit.
  • Informs customer work is complete and has customer sign paperwork after verifying all information is correct on paperwork.


Education:  High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Experience: Limited
Computer Skills: Minimal
Certificates & Licenses: Class B drivers license with clean driving record  



Work environment varies from office to job site to industrial locations
