Title Sales Manager

Description Position Summary

The incumbent will be responsible to increase the Company’s presence and market share in Malaysia. He/She is expected to manage the overall sales activities which effectively lead to tangible revenue growth of the Company’s products and services. To achieve and exceed the agreed sales objectives and targets.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Responsible for developing and increasing the Company’s presence and market share in Malaysia, leading to revenue growth.
• To achieve and exceed the agreed sales objectives and targets.
• Identify and pursue opportunities for Oil States’ projects and product/service developments
• Proactively seek out and develop sales opportunities for non-standard product line applications.
• Make contact either by phone or personal visit, with appropriate personnel by targeting potential customers to promote awareness of Oil States’ products and services.
• Receive enquiries and submit them to sales administration department for due process, provide supporting information to assist with the preparation of quotes.
• Provide timely service and to support for in house work necessary to meet the customers’ specification and requirements.
• On receipt of orders, review for accuracy and submit to the sales administration department for due processing.
• Provide support to sales department in contract review as required
• Ensure customers pay their accounts in a timely manner
• Prepare sales reports for submission to Director Global Connector Product
• Assist with preparation of accurate Sales and Profit forecasts/revenue streams and Annual Operating Plan.
• Ensure compliance with Oil States’ Code of Business Practice and other Corporate regulatory policies at all times.
Requirements Qualifications and Requirements
• Minimum a Degree level in engineering; or a minimum of 15 years’ relevant experience in the Oilfield Service and Operations; or a combination of formal education and experience.
• Strong Oilfield Service and Operations including experience in a senior-level sales and/or marketing position.
• Significant experience in strategic planning and execution of sales activities including knowledge of negotiating, contracting and change management.
• Knowledge of structuring sales quota goals and revenue expectations.
• Experienced in planning marketing strategies, advertising media/campaigns and successful public relations efforts.
• Self-started, excellent communicator, able to lead and motivate teams and simultaneously multi-task and manage several projects.
