Title OSES - Shop Foreman

Description POSITION SUMMARY: Supervises all Shop Hands and CDL Drivers. Keeps track of all equipment at facility and out on job sites. Supervises maintenance and readiness of all equipment and follow procedures to achieve this. Ensures shop is organized, kept clean and operating efficiently.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Abides by all OSES Safety and Operational Policies and Procedures.
• Supervises all activities of Shop Hands, CDL Drivers and equipment to move products in the safest and most effective manner.
• Plans the daily work assignments and monitors the work performance to ensure the shop is running as efficiently as possible.
• Inspects and maintains equipment and tools to diagnose problems and determine necessary repairs and damages to ensure they are working properly.
• Document and report all equipment movement.
• Test and maintain equipment for readiness.
• Ensure that trucks returning from jobsites are washed, and that tools have been cleaned and tested, when needed.
• Coordinate delivery of parts to sites, as required.
• Maintain inventory of equipment to meet needs and demands of the operation.
• Prepares time reports and other records.
• Communicate with both office staff and all levels of management.
• Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of OSES.
• Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
• Must possess basic math skills.
• Ability to communicate professionally with people at all levels of the organization and external contacts.
• Basic computer skills utilizing various programs in Microsoft Office Suite; must possess ability to learn company or industry specific applications.
• Must be able to occasionally work extended hours, including weekends, as needed.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Demonstrated ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Effective problem solving, analytic and is good at making decision skills.
• Familiar with tools and equipment utilized by OSES.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.
• Must successfully pass pre- and post- employment drug and alcohol tests per company policy.







QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Oil and Gas experience preferred
• Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school preferred.
• Computer experience required. Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with machine repair and maintenance
• Six months to one year related experience and/or training required or equivalent combination of education and experience.

CERTIFICATION & LICENSES:
• Valid Driver’s License
• Depending on business needs, certain locations may require a CDL
