Oil States is currently looking for qualified candidates for the position of HRIS Analyst - Arlington, TX

POSITION SUMMARY:
Under general supervision maintain and support the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), coordinate system upgrades, design data query reports and perform periodic audits of data to ensure data/system credibility.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Maintain and modify reports with Cognos Business Intelligence; provide analysis and interpretation of report data as required.
• Serve as HRIS team member providing support in the HR and Benefits modules.
• Partner with HR staff in the field to solve problems and support their needs.
• Assign and modify security roles in the HRIS application.
• Maintain data integrity by auditing trouble areas, investigating errors, identifying trends, and taking corrective action regarding data integrity issues.
• Participate in special and company-wide projects as appropriate (Benefits Open Enrollment, Talent Management Process, etc.).
• Participate in testing and communication of new systems and upgrades.
• Responsible for developing and presenting training for new HRIS initiatives.
• Other duties as assigned.
Requirements QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in HR field.
• 1 to 2 years of experience Business Intelligence reporting.
• Experience with UltiPro (preferred) or a similar HR system.
• Experience with Microsoft Office product. Advanced Excel skills required.
• Detail oriented with demonstrated analytic skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple concurrent assignments.
• Exceptionally strong customer service skills.
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• The employee is often required to sit for prolonged periods of time and use their hands and fingers to manipulate keys on a keyboard for prolonged periods of time.
• The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend and lift.
• Vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
• The employee is occasionally required to attend meetings out of the office, and may include overnight travel. Ability to travel by car or airplane.
• Moderate walking.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
