Description POSITION SUMMARY: Under limited supervision performs work of considerable difficulty in the repair and maintenance of vehicles and equipment; performs related work as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Abide by all Oil States Energy Services LLC. Safety and Operational Policy and Procedures.
• Diagnoses, rebuilds and repairs vehicles and equipment.
• Performs inspections and preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment.
• Prepares maintenance and repair logs to ensure all work performed is traceable.
• Maintain work tools and ensure they are continually secure.
• Cleans and maintains work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
• Working knowledge of modern automotive maintenance methods and procedures, including the proper and safe use of general automotive repair tools, equipment, lubricants and solvents.
• Must possess ability to effectively and accurately understand, interpret, reference, evaluate, organize and record technical and non-technical information.
• Must be able to correctly diagnose mechanical problems and effectively and efficiently perform repairs.
• Must possess the ability to follow written and verbal instructions, including manufacturers’ service specifications.
• Must demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Must successfully pass pre- and post- employment drug and alcohol test per company policy.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two (2) years of automotive mechanical diagnosis, problem-solving and repair experience.
• Electrical and diesel engine repair experience preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally lift 75 or more pounds.
• Must be physically capable of working in awkward positions for prolonged periods.
• Accident hazard can involve severe cuts and bruises.
• Requires pushing and pulling up to 140 pounds of force, standing, kneeling, carrying, sitting, and climbing for extended periods of time.

CERTIFICATIONS AND/OR LICENSE
• 1-2 ASE certifications preferred.
