The Resource Planner will have the responsibility to oversee ramp manpower. Must have ability to work under pressure assigning Ramp Crews as required. Responsible for overseeing all personnel, take accountability for safety, resource management, operation standards,
communicate directly with Airline Customers as needed. Manage daily, hourly and real time plan for Ramp Operations and communicate to staff.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Manage the ramp manpower on a daily, hourly and real time basis.
•Work closely with the resource clerk to determine staff to assign to flights.
•Obtain inbound and outbound flight information from all Frontier resources.
•Become direct point of contact to provide real time operational information for Ramp Teams, Shift Managers, Operations Manager, Ramp Manager and Station Director.
•Receive flight close out load information and enter into MCWeb.
•Ensure safety and security procedures are performed according to the Simplicity USA Health & Safety regulations and according to aviation standards.
•Monitor assigned radio channel to communicate with the ramp.
•Monitor performance, taking action to correct any shortfalls.
•Liaises with airline station managers, airport operations staff, handling agents, customs, immigration, and security officials and other airport stakeholders.
•Work shifts as required by the operation.
•Report any significant deficiency in our operations directly to Planning Manager, Shift Manager or Station Director
•Has the duty to suggest any improvements to working practice especially those relating to safety and security.
•Other tasks assigned by Operations Manager or Station Director
•Comfortable and continuously lift/move 70 lbs baggage on and off aircraft and transport it between aircraft, airport terminals.
•Frequent beding, strecthing push/pulling, stacking and kneeling in small confined locations.
•Operate motorized equipment.
•Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
•Must be able to speak, read and write in English proficiently.
•Valid US driver’s license with good driving record.
•Must be available and flexible to work variable shift including weekends and holidays.
•Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions.
•Able to continually lift move/push 70 lbs.
•Must pass a drug test.
•Must pass an FBI background check and obtain a custom seal.
•Prior ramp experience a plus.
•Must be computer literate.
