Oversee the school food program. Responsible for working cooperatively with the school leader to develop and administer the budget, manage the cafeteria staff, and provide a quality food program for the students of the academy.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
*Oversee school food program for quality, efficiency and compliance with National School Lunch/Breakfast standards.
*Write menus to meet National School Lunch/Breakfast standards.
*Maintain the following nutrition records: menus, production records, inventory, purchasing records (e.g., invoices, purchase orders), and standardization of recipe.
*Supervise other cafeteria staff.
*Supervise food service labor.
*Oversee compliance with standards for Type A meal requirements.
*Promote nutritional education in food services area.
*Attend related workshops and seminars.
*In conjunction with contracted food services: stock materials, supplies, etc., assure commodity utilization, monitor costs, contribute to promotion/theme days, monitor quality of food services, and monitor for smooth operations.

*Bachelor’s degree in dietetics or related field.
*Ability to maintain a professional working relationship.
*Ability to organize work to meet deadlines.
*Ability to manage multiple concurrent assignments.
