Title Maintenance Manager

Position: Petersburg Fisheries Maintenance Manager

General Description: Oversees all facility maintenance and related personnel

Responsibilities:
1. Supervise and coordinate all maintenance operations of the facility.
2. Direct activities of a maintenance crew of up to 30 people.
3. Assist with annual maintenance budget.
4. Prioritize projects to meet the schedule demands of other departments.
5. Maintain positive employee relations with all departments.
6. Provide timely employee performance evaluations, training.
7. Promoting and enforcing of safety, environmental and facility policies.
8. Continue to develop the plant preventative maintenance program.
9. Communicate effectively with employees and be a team builder.
10. Work closely with the Plant Manager to effectively plan maintenance projects.
11. Provide accurate material and cost estimations for all projects.
12. Communicate with and assist other company locations as needed.
13. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 5 years maintenance experience with seafood processing and canning preferred
2. Proven administrative and organizational skills.
3. Excellent math, written, and computer skills in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
4. An understanding of company goals, policies.
5. Must have effective communication, good people skills and ability to motivate a workforce.
6. Must be willing to make a minimum 3 year commitment.
7. Must be flexible and willing to adapt to continual changes in production.
8. Must have strong leadership skills and set a positive example for all employees.
9. Must have a valid driver’s license.
10. Must be physically able to work in a large processing/industrial setting with or without reasonable accommodation.
11. Applicant must be able to pass a satisfactory background check and drug screening.

Salary: This is a 12 month salaried position with qualifying benefits, the salary is based on previous experience.
