||POSITION: Office Assistant – Receptionist/Store
LOCATION: Wood River Plant
GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Provide attentive administrative, secretarial, and receptionist skills to the Wood River office, as well as maintaining and running plant store.
JOB DURATION: Seasonal, April thru August. There may be opportunities to continue work at other Icicle locations throughout the year.
REPORTS TO: This position reports directly to the Office Manager.
COMPENSATION: DOE, Hourly with overtime. Transportation is provided from/to Seattle upon completion of contract. Room and Board provided. Benefits provided upon eligibility.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Greet employees, fishermen, tendermen and others when they arrive to the office.
Answer main office phones.
Assist Production and Office managers in crew movement and crew scheduling.
Assist Safety Manager with clerical duties when needed.
Assist employees with various personnel-related matters.
Keep accurate inventory of office supplies and order when necessary.
Operate, maintain, and order supplies for the Plant store.
Complete data entry assignments as needed, including maintaining crew and bunkhouse lists.
Communicate information to other company locations as needed.
Assist with Radio communication.
Ensure all daily tasks are completed in compliance with Plant’s safety program.
Other duties as assigned.
||SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Professional & friendly manner a must.
Must be a detail oriented person.
Prompt, reliable attendance is an essential function of the job.
Numerical aptitude, including 10 key by touch.
Ability to work efficiently in fast past environment with little direct supervision.
Excellent organizational and communication skills required.
Computer and spreadsheet experience necessary.
Must have or be able to obtain a valid driver’s license and be an approved Icicle driver.
Must have the ability to work well under pressure, 12 or more hours per day, 7 days per week.
Must be willing and able to work with other departments in a team atmosphere.
Must be willing and able to live and work in confined quarters in a multi-cultural environment.
Must be professional at all times and represent Icicle with the highest standards.
WORK ENVIROMENT: Must be able to work 7 days per week, 12 or more hours per day in wet and cold conditions. This position will primarily be in the office; however, some duties may require work throughout the plant. There are areas within the plant that contain
moving and loud machinery, and hearing protection and other safety and protective equipment is required.
