Key Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Director of Sales Australia and Partnerships Australia/New Zealand, responsible for the implementation and management of all sales support functions which include (but are not limited to):
    • Engage and work collaboratively with broader team and provide sales support to achieve common goals
    • Maintain calendar of events and sales activities including collation of weekly sales call plans and WAR
    • Assistance with co-ordination of industry functions, tradeshows, RSVPS, presentations, and collateral
    • Assistance with planned tactical retail sales activity and promotions
    • Ordering of sales stationary, collateral and merchandise
    • Manage familiarizations/educationals including invitations, RSVPs and itinerary in conjunction with relevant industry partners
    • Create sales specific customer presentations adhering to brand guidelines
    • Prepare sales meeting agendas and minute such meetings with action points
    • Prepare and organize market relevant training in consultation with the sales team
    • Assist sales team with preparation of Trade Agreements and contracts
    • Track promo tickets and family/educational budget
    • Update sales and customer contact details in Salesforce
    • PCARD re-allocation
    • Coordinate vendor and PO set-up and arrange payment of sales invoices
  • Represent HA internally and externally including participation at relevant industry functions, tradeshows, expos and conferences.
  • Work closely with the GSA reservations team providing training information and guidance on HA process i.e. HAMiles
  • Work closely with the sales operations team in HQ to ensure compliance with company policy and procedures and feed-back to local team
  • Identify opportunities by working closely with trade partners and tourism boards to ensure maximum exposure and ROI for HA
  • Coordinate preferred affiliate program
  • Coordinate and update trade database and deploy trade communications in conjunction with Distribution Specialist AU
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

  • 3 years experience in a Sales and marketing function within an airline or travel related company
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of Australia and New Zealand travel industry
  • Strong understanding of airfares and pricing/product development and distribution
  • Experience in marketing is preferred
  • Proven process and procedural skills
  • Experience in managing multiple projects/tasks
  • Strong computer skills including a solid knowledge of Microsoft Office functionalities
  • Professional with strong presence to represent Hawaiian Airlines in interactions with important business partners
  • Team player with the ability to work in a collaborative and fast paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
