Title IT Operations Technician Manager

This position is responsible for managing IT projects, help desk operations and overseeing employees of various sub-divisions of IT while assisting the Director and Assistant IT Director as needed. Duties include supervising staff, participating with interviews, hiring, orientation and training of new hires, creating work schedules, distribution work assignments and monitoring completed work and handling of evaluations and employee disciplinaries. Ensures end user hardware and software troubleshooting support is properly coordinated, assists with planning, installation, setup and maintenance of IT systems such as gaming, voice, audio/visual and data wiring needs, troubleshoots all IT equipment and assists with the cabling of IT systems. Also responsible for performing regular inspections and maintenance of data room including hubs, connections and related equipment, provides on-call 24-hour support as needed, handles inventory and distribution procedures, tracks and maintains purchase requisitions, RMA's, and gaming equipment, and provides secondary support for gaming machines as needed. Performs additional job duties as assigned by the department manager.




  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical training on Microsoft products (Windows 2001/2007/XP), POS, telephone, audio/visual systems and computer design

Experience & Requirements:

  • Must have five years experience in an IT environment for an organization of comparable size and IT needs
  • Must have three years previous supervisory experience or experience in a leadership position
  • Must have verifiable ability to troubleshoot computer software and hardware problems and the ability to set up network and POS systems
  • Additional education or related experience may substitute for the minimum requirements of this position

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop and push and pull equipment for prolonged periods of time
  • Must have good hand and finger dexterity
  • Must be able to view and inspect gaming products
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
  • Must be able to drive to and from both casino locations
  • Must be able to tolerate a smoke filled environment. 

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • Upon offer must obtain a Class IIIA Gaming License ($273 - 335)
  • Must be able to work all scheduled shifts to include day, swing, graveyard and holidays
