||OK Residential Coordinator
|| AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY: The residential coordinator is a pivotal position in the home. The person in this position has the responsibility to coordinate the variety of services including, but not limited to: finances of persons served, recreation, program services, family involvement, education/vocational programs, healthcare/nutrition, and household management. The residential coordinator is responsible to assist the Program Director in maintaining consistency in programming, care of persons served, and communication with staff and interdisciplinary team members. The residential coordinator is also responsible to carry out the responsibilities and duties of the habilitation training specialist during all direct care shifts. The residential coordinator is responsible to be the back up to cover shifts in the event of an unexpected absence of staff. RESPONSIBLE TO: The residential coordinator is responsible to the Program Director. QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a high school diploma or GED certificate. Education or training in working with individuals who have mentally retardation and/or equivalent experience, as determined by the director. Prior experience in residential services for individuals with developmental disabilites preferred. Must be responsible, reliable, and able to carry out job functions without direct supervision. Responsible to carry out the duties and responsibilities of this position during regularly scheduled shifts, including holidays (if scheduled), and weekend shifts as scheduled. The residential coordinator will need to work unscheduled shifts to provide adequate coverage.
