Scope of Position

The Child Care Worker is responsible for providing direct supervision of children in the Child Watch room to ensure their health and safety.


Must be fluent in English and Spanish


Hours / Shifts Needed


Monday-Thursday 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Essential Functions

  • Provides supervision to ensure safety of children in Child Watch room while siblings and/or parents are in therapy sessions.
  • Constantly monitors and interacts with children; guides, nurtures, assists and plays with children at all times.
  • Enforces all rules of Child Watch room ensuring compliance with all Agency policies and procedures.
  • Informs supervisor immediately of any problems or incidents with supervised children in Child Watch room.
  • Maintains physical cleanliness of children including washing faces and hands, changing clothes when necessary, and assisting with toileting and other duties as assigned.
  • Other duties, inlcudng office assistance, as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Must be bilingual English/Spanish.
  • Must be 18 years old with a minimum of one year experience providing supervision to children.
  • Must be trained and/or certified in Child Care, First Aid and CPR (or available to get trained within first week of hire)
  • Have a high school diploma or GED.

Candidates must be able to successfully pass our pre-employment screenings, including a Spanish language assessment, background check, and Live Scan fingerprinting.
