Scope of Position:

Under the direction of the Human Resources Director, this position will be responsible for various complex administrative and support functions within the Human Resources Department for our Talent Acquisition team, which may include any or all of the following: applicant and new hire processing, data input and integrity, ad-hoc report preparation, employee data collection, new hire orientation, recruitment support and file maintenance.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Assist with the full cycle recruitment process
  • Inputs data into our ATS system
  • Process New Hires into our HRIS system, calendars interviews, conducts pre-screen interviews, and assist with job postings and sourcing
  • Routinely prepares regular and ad hoc reports to support agency and department operations and performance, based on the requestor’s specifications.
  • Administers onboarding process for new hires
  • Assist with new hire orientation for new employees; inspects documentation and license information; establishes employee file.
  • May assist with organizing agency events and administering employee tenure awards.
  • Provides administrative support to the HR Director and the Talent Acquisition team and assists the department with distributing HR Department mail, filing and other support duties as required.  
  • Processes and tracks background screenings for applicants, volunteers and interns.
  • Schedules and conducts Exit Interviews including processing terminations in the system.
Requirements

Job Requirements:

  • A BA in Business, Human Resources, or related field and/or equivalent work experience preferred, but not required.
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills and excellent communication skills.
  • Advanced computer knowledge and skills in HRIS systems, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and Outlook.
  • A commitment to team objectives and Didi Hirsch philosophies.
  • Ability to adapt to changing needs by acquiring new skills and knowledge.
  • Current California driver’s license and a driving record acceptable to the Agency’s insurance carrier.
