Description Reporting to the Fixed Asset Accounting Manager, the Supervisor is responsible for the review of journal entries, supporting schedules and analyses, account reconciliations, and stand-alone PP&E rollforwards. The supervisor is also required to collaborate closely with operations, Tax, and other accounting groups as part of review processes.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Review journal entries and fixed asset transactions as prepared by staff with appropriate support documentation;
• Coordinate tax requirements with the Tax group and ensure completeness and accuracy of the PP&E Tax books;
• Analyze activity and review analysis performed by staff to support monthly and quarterly financial reporting requirements;
• Review account reconciliations prepared by staff;
• Facilitate maintaining an appropriate control environment, including executing and documenting existing controls;
• Provide schedules for auditors and facilitate answering audit questions;
• Communicate with people at all levels throughout organization as necessary;
• Supervise and guide staff in their core responsibilities; and
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Prefer 7+ years related work experience, with fixed asset accounting experience strongly desirable
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and judgment skills
• Self-driven with strong work ethic
• Strong time management skills, with ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workflow
• Microsoft Office and PeopleSoft (or equivalent systems)
• Experience working in a team atmosphere
• Experience with maintaining Tax books is highly preferred
• CPA and Big 4 experience a plus
