Description Job Summary: (includes but is not limited to the following, other duties may be assigned):

Responsible for gathering design, coordination, testing and support of customer intelligence reporting and the analytic needs. Required to work as a liaison between IT and Business to ensure proper testing performed to meet requirements. May assess the appropriateness and effectiveness of a particular policy. Identify and implement best practices to communicate and publish. Coordinate and lead business requirements gathering meetings with management and business users of the company. Ensure that relevant documents of system set up and working practices established and maintained reflecting any changes because of development. Lead engineers or analysts and guide them in the appropriate direction to meet deadlines and provide quality and timely support to business. Will provide support and training associated with the operation of the systems, including induction and refresher training and arrange externally provided training if required.

Job Responsibilities:

• Senior-level; recognized technical expertise in own and possibly related functions.
• Ability to manage teams; prioritizing and assigning work based on business requirements
• Mentoring team members in relation to task prioritization and managing their tasks
• Ability to formalize and report technical and non-technical issues to management during crisis situations
• Ability to handle work pressure and mentor team members during crisis situations
• Performs a variety of complex technical service/support duties requiring specialized knowledge.
• Regularly makes decisions on non-routine or escalated technical issues.
• Independently prioritizes and executes responsibilities effectively for a single trade, group of related tasks or functional area.
• Checks own work and work of others; work results are of the highest quality standards and advanced technical competency.
• Duties and tasks reflect substantial variety and complexity from the individual and manages a team to deliver the same
• Resolves the most complex technical issues, conferring with team members and peers occasionally; may serve as resource to others in resolution of complex issues.
Requirements • Education or experience equivalent to a four-year degree from an accredited college or university, with emphasis in electrical engineering.
• Minimum of five years of experience with project management, implementing, developing and/or supporting EMS/SCADA applications is required.
• Experience using OSI Monarch product is preferred.
• Experience in writing code using C/C++ on UNIX platform is required.
• Good understanding in configuring and supporting applications using DNP, ICCP, etc.
• Good knowledge of structured query languages like Oracle SQL, iSQL.
• Good understanding of energy market protocols and ability to guide others with energy market requirements and enforce protocols as mandated by markets.
• Design, develop and implement business enhancements using standard change management processes
• Good understanding of NERC CIP current version requirements that are applicable to energy management systems and experience with performing control tasks related to energy management systems
• Demonstrated knowledge of concepts of information technology, standard application development methods, and relational database technology.
• Demonstrated ability to implement standard analysis, programming, and testing techniques across the development life cycle of systems.
• Ability to determine the use of appropriate current information processing technology, applies logical reasoning to moderately complex situations, and analyzes problems of a moderately complex nature and derives workable solutions.
• Ability to understand, develop and maintain business applications using application development tools as defined.
• Demonstrated ability to use computer software programs (e.g., e-mail, word processing, spreadsheet, and project management).
• Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
