Description Job Summary and Job Responsibilities: (including but not limited to the following; other duties may be assigned):

The program manager will be responsible for the oversight of large capital projects at the Geysers Geothermal field. This individual will be responsible for the safety, quality, oversight, and management of contractors for large capital projects. This individual may also be called upon to do limited cost control and budget management. He may also be asked to manage small capital projects.

This individual will oversee contractors during all phases of the installation, commissioning, and project documentation. Experience with mechanical, electrical, and civil project construction is essential. Projects could involve our Geothermal power plants, steam field, injection systems or projects to maintain the roads and infrastructure. This position requires coordination with internal stakeholders to ensure that those goals are met. The program manager will be directly involved in implementing our safety culture through all phases of the construction life cycle and insuring contractor monitoring is safe and effective. This position also requires the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously. Although detailed engineering design is usually provided from outside engineering firms on large jobs, it is often necessary to review engineering drawings with the project manager.
Requirements • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in construction experience, technical engineering and/or chemical field of study
• Demonstrated 5-10 years of construction management or engineering with at least 3 years of construction management on capital projects over $500K.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Computer literate minimum requirements – Microsoft: Word, Excel, Access ETAP, SKM, ASPEN, OEM Relay Software.
• Strong background with safety related culture, procedures and safeguards.
• Team player who is able to work collaboratively with others on the team and with resources not directly under their control.
