Description Main Responsibilities
• Define standards for achieving maximum performance and efficiency of the BI platform using Microsoft technologies
• Have good knowledge on data science trends and technologies to continually improve processes and implement best practices.
• Apply BI expertise in system architecture design and hands-on development and maintenance of BI systems.
• Define a roadmap for future investment in business intelligence and analytics capabilities.
• Provide BI technical and architectural guidance to projects and teams, ensuring that new initiatives adhere to standards and enable effective reporting and analysis.
• Responsible for gathering requirements, designing solutions, and overseeing the development and execution of projects.
• Work with business clients, IT project teams, and business analysts to understand the implications of business information needs and drive updates to the information architecture and business analytics to maximize the value of information across the organization.
• Good knowledge and experience in Data governance and MDM to maintain data quality, integrity, and reliability throughout the enterprise.
• Mentor and train BI team resources, data analysts, and business users in the BI technology stack and best practices.
Requirements Requirements & Qualifications
• Strong analytical and reasoning skills that result in simplified and standardized solutions to achieve the business objectives.
• Proven ability to multi-task along with strong communication and team work skills.
• Must be detail-oriented and have strong organizational skills to effectively participate in project meetings, discussions and issue resolution.
• 10+ years’ experience designing analytics platforms to meet business requirements that includes requirements for streaming/real-time analytics and machine learning
• 10+ years of experience of building impactful reports and dashboards using Microsoft BI toolsets
• 2+ years of experience in R , Python etc..
• 5+ years of experience in data movement/ETL concepts and tools like Microsoft SSIS, SSRS, and/or SSAS including programming languages like T-SQL etc. is desired
• Expert-level knowledge of designing high-performance visualizations and tabular models
• Strong communication skills and general business acumen.
• Keep current with Business Intelligence best practices and operational requirements.

Education :
Bachelors or equivalent in Computer Science or similar technology

Preferred Qualifications
• Gas, Power Industry experience.
• Good experience on Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory ,Azure Data Lakes & Data Bricks
• Experienced in all aspects of Power BI, including establishing gateways, use of embedding, DAX and M
