JOB PURPOSE:   As a Talent Analytics Consultant, this position is the liaison between Talent Management/HR Leaders and Business Leaders to assist in achieving business results by using talent data to inform and improve decision-making.  This position will utilize data analysis methodologies, tools and approaches to provide insights into organizational talent in order to create better workforce solutions.  This individual will be responsible for translating business objectives, program KPIs and challenges into analytics priorities and communicating the talent analytics findings to influence and inform business decisions. 


  • Serve as the primary liaison for Talent Management Leaders and Business Leaders on Human Capital/Talent analytics, strategies, priorities and needs
  • Formulate the right questions in order to develop the best approach for data analysis
  • Develop hypotheses, document assumptions, and analyze results as they relate to key business initiatives
  • Blend employee data from multiple systems to identify organization trends related to attracting, developing, engaging and retaining talent
  •  Communicate technical information effectively to  both technical and non-technical audiences (e.g. understand audience needs, translate data into readily-understood terms)
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices regarding human capital/workforce analytics
  • Partner with HRIS Analysts to design systems and processes related to measuring talent
  • Play an active role in identifying opportunities to improve efficiencies and assist in implementation and monitoring of action plans instrumental in achieving company objectives
  • Create, maintain and communicate monthly, quarterly and annual metrics and analysis to assess restaurant, field leaders and organizational performance
  • Model and forecast trends related to candidate and employee information (e.g. turnover, labor usage, development)
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting as needed



  • Design and build talent metrics for distribution to leaders and the field through Power BI
  • Provide data to Talent Management and Business Leaders through ad-hoc reporting requests
  • Compile and produce monthly, quarterly and annual talent metrics for Talent Manager and Business Leaders
  • Analyze and investigate data integrity variances found through reporting
  • Develop processes to streamline the compilation of periodic reporting/analysis
  • Support the Talent Management function through the assessment of workforce analytics software to be integrated with core HRIS (Ultimate Software), Talent Planning (SuccessFactors) and ATS systems






  • Power BI experience required
  • Advanced understanding of HRIS database design, structure, functions and processes, and experience with database tools so that data can be used to product reporting and analytics
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels and operation units within the organization
  • Ability to work in ambiguous environments with the ability to use data to solve problems
  • Ability to manipulate data and identify trends, anomalies and points needing more investigation
  • Experience developing reports using Cognos ad hoc reporting & table maintenance
  • Lean, Six-Sigma preferred
  • Strong quantitative experience preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance or Economics (Or equivalent working experience) and 8+ years’ experience or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in relational database querying tools
  • Proficiency in MS Excel/VBA and PowerPoint, Power BI
  • Other statistical, visualization or programming tools such as SQL, Tableau a plus
  • Proven ability to influence others
  • Ability to balance multiple initiative and prioritize incoming requests
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency in querying and analyzing complex data sets
  • Experience with modeling and forecasting
  • Demonstrated ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to present analyses to executive leadership, both orally and in writing
