JOB PURPOSE: The gift card manager creates the strategic vision and executes the Buffalo Wild Wings® year-round in-restaurant and online gift card programs, including seasonal promotions, working closely with vendor partners and cross-functional Home Office Team Members. The gift card manager serves as a subject matter expert for the Home Office and Field Team Members to drive gift card sales and increase gift card use.


  • Manages strategy, execution and communication to ensure flawless execution of our year-round in-restaurant gift card program and seasonal promotions to meet sales goals
  • Manages our online gift card program, to include execution, vendor management and design scheme and sequence
  • Develops strategies to increase sales of Buffalo Wild Wings gift cards in-restaurant and online
  • Collaborates with IT to ensure gift cards are functional across all platforms (POS, mobile, tablets, wallets)
  • Creates regularly scheduled reports for gift card team as well as ad hoc reports as needed
  • Acts as a resource to Field Team Members utilizing gift cards for marketing or promotional programs
  • Manages gift card inventory and production for all in-restaurant and online gift card programs
  • Oversees gift card production vendor selection and pricing strategy
  • Prepares internal communication for Field Team Members utilizing Weekly Updates, and bHUB/zHUB
  • Shares information regarding gift card processing problems that may impact Guests; communicates the ongoing situation and resolution
  • Works closely with Accounting Team on gift card documentation and reconciliation
  • Manages gift card coordinator position
  • Develops and retains gift card coordinator by mentoring and utilizing career development tools and plans



  • Collaborates with design team to create new gift card designs for in-restaurant and online programs
  • Provides team support in the business-to-business and retail channels as needed

  • Proven record of delivering results
  • College degree
  • 2-4 years of experience in gift cards
  • Knowledge of the payment industry and mobile technology



  • Experience in accounting, analytics, data entry and client relations
