Provide maintenance to all electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems as needed.
Repair and rebuild pumps, motors and valves.
Observe and maintain the boiler and steam system and TDS logbook.
Weld and fabricate as necessary.
Communicate with the Production Manager about the operation of the plant and scheduling of their assistance with the maintenance.
Maintain a plant equipment operation manual and a basic troubleshooting guide for the mixers.
Establish budget and report on expenditures
Assist to maintain inventories of commonly used parts between operational areas
Assist the transportation department with technical support
Contract, receive bids, coordinate and supervise sub-contractors services.
Insure that all contractors are insured, trained and observe PerforMix safety standards
Failure Analysis and Trouble Shooting of Motors, Pumps, Seals and other components that are not operating correctly or fail.
Maintain a file system of manuals and reference material for equipment.
Order, maintain and receive a stock of parts and required supplies.
Communicate with vendors on a regular basis for new ideas and prices.
Assist with safety in regards to electrical, moving parts and catwalks.
Follow safety procedures and assist in training of staff
